I became interested in Magic tricks at the age of 6 when I received a magic set as a gift from my grandmother and as an only child I guess I enjoyed the attention that doing magic brought me. I grew up in Johannesburg in South Africa and joined the Johannesburg junior magic circle in March of 1981. I did my first ever paid magic show on 4th May 1981 and I marketed my show to my first shopping mall on 23rd December 1982. My first school programme was two 30 minute shows performed at a school carnival day which took place in 1983, I was 16 years old.

I invented my firs original magic trick “phantom Tube” in 1983 which I manufactured and sold to my local magic dealer later that year I won the junior Magician of the year contest, a title I held until 1986. My first television performance was in 1984 which was the start of a television career spanning over a decade. I held the national senior magician of the year title for five years consecutively and after three years in the armed forces in the entertainment corpse performing shows daily both nationally and internationally I decided to make magic a fulltime career.
